PM ARK Fortress (VI – XIX c) – in middle ages it was a whole town with the emirs house, with wives, mosques mint place, government institutes, store rooms, a prison and a square for public executions, Bolo Khaous Ensemble, Samanid mausoleum (IXc) 1st brick building shaped as cube covered by dome with unrepeatable geometrical brickwork design. Chashma Ayub Mausoleum. Overnight at hotel. Day 3. Bukhara – Samarkand A.M. Breakfast. Drive to Samarkand. Arrival Samarkand & accommodation at hotel. Free SS of Samarkand: Gur Amir mausoleum (XV c) Timurids dynastic burial vault. unique monument of architecture with blue ribbed tessellated dome. Overnight at hotel. Day 4. Samarkand- Tashkent (310km) A.M. Breakfast. Free SS Registan square (XV–XVII c) official center of Timurs Empire, consist of grandious madrasahs of Ulugbek, Sher Dor & Tillya Kari, Bibi Khanum mosque (XIVc), built by Timur to be biggest mosque at time. Architect, craftsmen & painters built it in 5 years. Bazaar P.M. Continue SS of Samarkand: Ulugbek observatory, Shahi Zinda mausoleum (XIV–XV c) ‘Town of Dead’ a complex of more than 20 unique buildings of different ages.
