Our ballads in Uzbekistan will take you to meet these people on the Silk Road, to the discovery of ancient caravan cities real gems of architecture: Samarkand, Bukhara... but also open spaces of Central Asia, to the deserts, oases and mountains, ideal for hiking.

6 days horse trekking to discover the mountains of Uzbekistan, near Samarkand. Most of the steps are performed on horseback through the mountains and typical villages.

Itinerary: Tashkent — Bukhara — Gijduvan — Nurata –Aydarkul – village Majrum – village Hayot – village Uhum – village Sentob – village Pangat — Samarkand — Tashkent

Program
Day 1 –Tashkent
Arrive in Tashkent airport and be transferred by our driver to the hotel. Sightseeing in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, which is famous for its parks and fountains. The tour starts by visiting the Khast Imam place where Barakhan medersah and Tilla Sheikh mosque are located. Then promenade around  Chorsu bazaar, the ancient city. Lunch at restaurant. After lunch the tour continues: Place of Opera and Ballet that is named after famous Uzbek poet Alisher Navoi, Independence place, Amir Temur square, monument of Courage, monument dedicated to the victims of earthquake happened in 1966, gorgeous Tashkent metro. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 – Tashkent – Bukhara (560 km)
Train trip to Bukhara (7h). Arrive and accommodation at hotel. Tour around the ancient city. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 - Day 5 - Bukhara
Bukhara is a divine place to visit! One of the most ancient cities of Central Asia. Spiritual and commercial Centre whose importance does not decrease over the centuries. Visit a central part of city - Shakhristan: Ark Fortress (VI — XIX c) — in middle ages it was a whole town with the emirs house, with wives, mosques mint place, government institutes, store rooms, a prison and a square for public executions, Bolo Khous Ensemble, Samanid mausoleum (IXc) 1st brick building shaped as cube covered by dome with unrepeatable geometrical brickwork design, Chashma Ayub Mausoleum. Lunch. Continuation of tour around Bukhara: Abdulazizkhan madrasah and Ulugbek madrasah, Magokki Attori mosque and Labi Khauz ensemble. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day  5  - Bukhara
After breakfast at the hotel departure for the visit of the summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara - Sitora - Mokhi Khosa 4 km from the city. Return to town and visit the Chor Minor Mosque. Walk along the narrow streets of the old part of the city and visit the baker's workshop, which produces the traditional Uzbek bread "Non". Lunch in town. Free afternoon visit.

Day 6 - Bukhara - Guijduvan – Nurata – Aydarkul (240 km)
Departure towards Nurata, on the way stop in Guijduvan to visit the workshop of master ceramist Abdullo. Excursion to the Ceramics Museum and the pottery workshop, then discover the traditional silk thread embroidery practiced by the women of the family. Continuation of road, new stop for the visit of the vestiges of the old caravanserai Rabat-i-Malik and the water reservoir Sardoba. Lunch at a popular restaurant in Nurata. Visit of Nurata with the Chachma ensemble and the sacred spring, then the ruins of an ancient citadel of Alexander the Great. Continuation of road towards the lake of Aydarkul, possibility to bathe in the transparent waters of the lake. Installation under the yurts. Walk or camel ride Baktriane. In the evening, you can dine around the campfire, with music and traditional songs from the Kazakh Akyn troubadour. Night under the yurt.

Day 7 – Aydarkul – Majrum - Hayot (130 km)(4h-5 h)
Departure at 8 o'clock from the yurts to reach the village of Majrum, visit of the millennium pine and departure on horseback accompanied by the guide. After 2 hours of journey, picnic under the muriers and another 2 hours of journey to reach Hayot. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 8 - Hayot – Ukhum – Hayot (4h-5 h)
Departure on horseback through the pass to reach the village of Ukhum. Visit of the mill and lunch with the miller. Continuation of the road to return to Hayot through the villages. Dinner and Overnight stay in Hayot.

Day 9 – Hayot (4h-5h)
A walk of 2 hours in the morning to discover the park and mouflons. Lunch in the family. Walk in the afternoon on the other side towards the forest (2h). Dinner and Overnight stay in Hayot.

Day 10 – Hayot - Sentob (4h-5 h)
Departure from the house on horseback with accompanist. Stop for picnicking behind the pass after 3 hours. Continuation to Sentob Guest House. Dinner and night at the inhabitant.

Day 11 -  Sentob - Lake Fozilman (4h-5 h)
Horseback riding tour to Lake Fozilman. Picnic lunch. Dinner around the fire. Night under the tent near the lake.

Day 12 – Lake Fozilman – Pangat (4h-5 h)
Continuation of horseback riding to reach the village Pangat. Dinner and night at the inhabitant.

Day 13 - Pangat - Samarkand
Transfer to Samarkand with stops. Arrival and installation at hotel. After noon, visits begin. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 – Samarkand - Tashkent (300 km)
Day of visits of Samarkand. Departure by train to Tashkent. Arrival at. Installation. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15 – Tashkent
In the morning, sightseeing of the old town of Tashkent, then transfer to the airport. Flight review Uzbekistan Airways.
